About Holly
Connection with the people we work with is key
The two things people most often say to me:
“How do I deal with these really difficult people?“
and “I am not sure why we are doing this?”
Getting to Know Holly
I am forever curious about how we as humans work – in both relationships and in practice – how we actually learn, do and be.
I have been working with public, private and third sector leaders for over 20 years, helping them to tell stories which connect, to navigate complexity, recognise value, handle risk and make meaningful changes to the way in which they lead.
When it comes to leaders, my starting question is “What is your unique and consequential work?”
From here I will bring insight and creativity to our work together – supporting you to become the best leader you can be.
Outside of work, my passions include spending time with my eleven-year-old son, making chocolate, and am an avid herb grower! My son loves to critique the chocolate and kick his ball into the herb garden. I too, love the tasting and creating the chocolate but perhaps less so the football.
“This woman is so insightful, intelligent & smart. Our weekly, sometimes rambling, sometimes intense, phone conversations helped keep me sane, fulfilling my need to hypothesise expansively, share observations about the world and be provoked into sharpening my thinking”
Emily Sweetman – Organisational consultant, coach & facilitator
My experience includes:
- Place working and capacity building
- Leadership development and programme design/facilitation
- BA Hons Communication
- Coaching (ILM level 7)
- Learning and innovation
- Practice development and culture change
- System change and social imagination
“Holly brings the perfect balance of challenge and support to our coaching relationship. She observes and plays back; she builds up confidence and she provides practical advice and tools. What I love about Holly is that she brings a whole person perspective, recognising that coaching senior executives isn’t just about working with them as leaders of an organisation but also as real people”
Juliet Tizzard – Health Research Authority, NHS

“Holly has played a critical role in helping us establish a very different way of working across partners within our system. In particular, Holly brought the real gold dust in the surfacing of the unspoken, allowing us to explicitly explore the things that were not being communicated between each other”
Matt Brown – Provider Collaborative (North East and North Cumbria)
Get to Know Me Better
I am passionate about working with change leaders who understand how they are matters.
I love working with leaders from profit and non-profit private and public organisations, all who serve society by ensuring a positive contribution and are passionate about building community well-being and resilience.
I think showing up as all of you matters and we are not just robots or a persona. We rich textured humans who can exercise decrement about how they show up and we are always learning who we are.
My qualifications and experience
I have BA hons in Communication, PG in Organisational development, a PG dip in Coaching Psychology (ILM level 7), PG in integrative psychotherapy.
I have additional study in group dynamics, vertical development, developmental sprints, psychometrics like 15PF and MBTI and have 20-years of experience developing leaders to work in complex systems.
I believe in the power of experiences
Learning room experience is very powerful and its how we learn from birth: teaching ourselves to sense into movement to get to walking, falling over and over, and teaching ourselves to live collaboratively and creatively with others. The attention to the gap between our aspiration and lived experience is a great tool.
In my spare time I'm an artisan chocolatier
I love chocolate, my passion began when my son was younger and we wanted to create a fun experience together and gifts for others.
I'm committed to life long learning
I am always on a course or studying, currently, I am reading herbal medicine and pluralist psychotherapy.
You will find piles of half-read books dotted around my home.
